Semi-regular recommendation for the 23 episode, 2006 anime Ergo Proxy. Existential cyberpunk that is both very strange and profoundly sad. Right up my alley.

The new Laibach is discussed on this week’s WHaT. I’m inclined to side with their opinion on its merits or lack thereof. I understand what they’re doing but it’s somewhat disappointing when you’re presented a sledgehammer when accustomed to a scalpel.

Just a short recommendation for the 2015 short film Cord. It's a brisk one hour and four minute sci-fi story that's weird and unpleasant and very effecting, or at least I thought so. It's not streaming on any legit platforms (at least in Canada) but is findable if you're interested.
