You know what would be a GREAT thing to do to protect kids online? Putting actual pedophiles behind bars. Certainly would work better than mandatory ID verification on chat apps, but comes with the downside that it yields less data to sell.

I think my main takeaway from my first foray into the miniature painting hobby is: 98% of the stuff you can buy for it is ridiculously expensive fake bullshit. Washes? Enjoy your overpriced bottle of colored water. Paint sets? Just use normal artist-grade acrylics for 1/4 of the price.

And he's done! My very first #WH40K #miniature. Made a lot of mistakes, learned even more, and overall I think I'm happy with the result. Maybe by the time I paint the next one, I'll learn how to make good photos too lol. At least you can still sorta make out the funny little detail I added in.

VERY far from being done, but: My first mini building/painting attempt! (WH40k Tech-Priest Manipulus) I'm learning as I go, and boy am I learning a lot. Like the fact that cheap acrylic paints are perfectly fine, but BOY would a Primer have helped. Deffo gonna get one before starting the next one.

Prime example of Chaotic Good alignment: The guy at my workplace who tells the new trainees increasingly shocking stories of how he lost his fingers in avoidable work related accidents to warn them of the dangers of working with the various machines (he was actually born that way)

Managed to rescue all the important data and doing a clean windows install. First thing I do if this works is install steam, create a new category in my library called "DO NOT PLAY, WILL FRY YOUR SYSTEM" and put Valheim and only Valheim into it

Good news: The RAM is not the problem! Bad news: That means it's either the hard drive or a problem with the OS (Both bad, because it means I loose files) or the mainboard (Whole different can of worms) Good news: I now have some additional RAM for when (if...) my PC is running again I guess
