The only good things that came out of not having electricity are learning that we really do have a powerful support network in the form of our family (my in-laws) and our friends, as well as my inability to do anything but work on Sword Senpai! (because it's in alpha now). This sucks otherwise.

How much world building is too much? Does every game need a fully fleshed out world or is ten pages enough for some games? Questions I ask myself while trying to figure out what to add to the world building chapter of a game.

I’m fucking devastated what Black members of my fandom are going through rn. You have every right to feel how you feel and this community should be a safe one. It devastates me that the hatedom has reached levels that threaten lives over demanding how people ‘should’ feel.

On to the special categories of demon: The Punished and the Embodiments. These are either humans that were punished for a sin or are the embodiment of it.

Making Demons for Sword Senpai! is frustratingly fun. On the one hand, I hate creating things like this and prefer making mechanics. On the other hand, this means the game is in a playable state and could be tested.

Designing 62 different Demons for the game is gonna be a bit of a pain. Hell, I'm only 6 in and I'm already stumped on what to do for a demon called The Broken.

The game is roughed out minus the setting info and making spells and enemies... which I am working on now. So glad I picked this up again.

So, based on my reading of the Romantasy Wiki---a very reputable source---I can clearly say that Sword Senpai! is romantasy in addition to being a post-apocalyptic punk, anime inspired ttrpg. So, my efforts are not in vain.
