52 solder joins later and all of the button clusters are wired up. I used network patch leads so the end that terminates to the microcontrollers can be a regular old RJ45 socket. I used a 2x13 multiplex system to save on microcontroller inputs.

Did I invent this technique of dispensing a manageable amount of solder onto a paddle pop stick? I think it works nicely, rather than using solder straight off the spool. Much easier to handle. #soldering #diy #electronics
