New Mexico was warmer this morning that parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida! New Orleans, Austin, Jacksonville, FL, Mobile, AL, and Savannah, GA have now all been as cold or colder than Albuquerque so far this season!

ONE YEAR AGO: Do you remember the record breaking snowstorm that hit New Mexico November 7-9, 2024? Several feet of snow fell in the northern mountains. Ski resorts opened up early. Several inches of snow fell in parts of ABQ with over 12" in parts of northern New Mexico.

Albuquerque had consistent and overall above average dew points almost all monsoon season. Despite that, we ended up 1.41" below average with 3.07" of rain this year. The 32nd driest monsoon on record of 134 years. It was also the 5th warmest.
