Quickly she turned around with her hands behind her back as she hid the book poorly, obviously she had been seen. But she relaxed when she saw him. "You scare me, Reg. You can't sneak on ladies like that. People. On people."

The music was a little too loud for her to hear him, but it was like something makes her look. As if she could tell. With a bright smile she ran toward him. "You're here!"

She was smiling, and her attention turned toward him she noticed his stare although not the reasons for it. Not rationalizing it. "Thank you for taking me." To the opera, she meant.
