Rebuilt my Dad/Grand Dad's old Bailey/Stanley hand plane. Knew it was old-ish, but after doing a bit of research, from the Marking on it it's like 1910-1920! 🧐 Was gunna completely strip it and repaint and such, but figured at that age, I'd leave it and just de-rust with wire wheels and such! Works!

Was having Knee/Leg surgery when it showed up 🙄. 2 months recovery, had brother help remount on stand. Finally felt good good enough to finish! 😍

Fun little kit knife. I'm sure the blade isn't anything special but worth it just for fun and using up scraps. Friend chose the blade blank and I slapped on the handle for his B-day. got to mail it down to the Virgin Islands now where he is sailing around.. :)
