Goodreads challenge for 2026 set = 50 hopefully. I usually read more but don’t want to make it too stressful for myself

Just about to start book 60 of the year. Not really my type of book but it’s been super popular so thought I’d give it a go

The more I try to control my book buying the more I seem to buy 🤦‍♀️ anyway these have turned up the last couple of days including one on loan from a friend (the blue Miranda Dickinson)

My little Fiat is in the garage for diagnostics today. She goes to a Ford garage as they sold me a service plan. I’ve lost count how many times they’ve told me my car isn’t a Ford. I want to say ‘don’t you think I know that’ or ‘she hasn’t suddenly decided to re-identify herself’

Such a funny day today - my boss was off sick as she had no voice! Someone else sort of covered for her but half the patients failed to attend and she left early. Then I had a migraine again as I have had most days the last 2 weeks 😢

You know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover well my latest read has a lovely cover and I thought it was going to be a nice romance but I’ve just had a kidnap scene and a near murder. This is not really what I signed up for, a bit too exciting for me, a girl who likes her happy romance stories.

My first blue sky post and the butterfly icon makes me think this is a happier place already.
