Helping out a really awesome pixel artist with their VGen quest. She needs 100 likes and 20 retweets to get verified on on there. Can you please drop by her post and drop a like on the post I am retweeting? Vgen is an awesome platform, but getting verified on it is definitely the biggest barrier.

Hey bluesky folks, quick check in. Just wanted to let everyone know that all our duck eggs hatched, so we have a 100% hatch rate, but it also means we have spare ducklings that all my time has been focused on re homing. Will be back to normal soon. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Kingdom Hearts 3 was a pretty fun game. You just jump in, play it, and have a grand ol time, nothing else to acknowledge about it. Nope. nothing else. What? What do I think about the...story? Do you have sea salt ice cream in your ears? PLAY GAME. ENJOY GAME, ACKNOWLEDGE. NOTHING. ELSE.

No real update on the duck eggs right now. Only one pipped, one is moving a lot, and the other two are very sedentary. They seem to be more on the late side of hatching. This really messes with the time table though as I have to get the other 4 ready for lockdown soon.

Final 8 duck eggs that we're hatching for the year are gearing up for their lock down. Four enter tomorrow (or at midnight, haven't decided) and this batch is exciting because we KNOW at least two of the eggs whose mother they belong to (it was Bonnie, the bedrest duck)! The other two? Mysteries!

In other news, I am playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, kind of having a blast with it. Much better than I thought it was going to be. Having said that, the little monopoly mini game at the Hundred Acre Woods is pretty nuts. Like Tigger is an actual menace of an opponent. An actual problem.

Defending Dark Souls 2 is like my own personal Crisis Core moment lmao. People have softened on it over time, but I am talking the first year or so of it's release. Felt like the entire collective gaming community was against it. I've always loved that game, and it only got better in time.

Low energy day. Nothing new to update. On any front lol. Just working on my game when I can, etc. Apologies, I wish I had more to say. I think it's going to be a lot better in a month or so once I'm stable on my new medicine, the hatching season is over, etc. Hope ya'll are doing ok on here.

The only thing I am upset about with the Star Fox remake is that the head doesn't bounce and jiggle all around when ever he speaks. Like sure keep the gritty realistic nightmare fox head, but give me the wobbly jittery talky head WITH the realistic nightmare fox head. The world needs that much.

I may have the pace of a turtle on Zoloft when it comes to developing my video game, and I may not be the brightest person considering how long it takes for me to learn concepts, But I DO have a 100% egg hatch rate, so that's pretty cool. I can hatch the hell out of some eggs. I'll take that.

Duck update: Delta pulled through, and Theresa hatched this morning. All survived. We have some embryos that are a couple weeks out from hatching, but time will tell if they survived the emergency re-sheltering. When the other incubator failed, we had to alter their incubator to save Delta/Theresa.

Distracting myself with light hearted stuff isn't working. Gonna try and go to sleep. Worrying myself sick over my duckling. Ya'll have a good night.

Hi bluesky and those invested in the duckling updates. We had a LOT of hatches, and a hatching emergency with one. Currently stabilized, but our duckling Delta is fighting. It's a shaky prognosis, but we're hopeful. As for the others, will post videos when I can, just not the priority right now.

It's so hard to focus on working on game dev stuff when, literally one room over, I have 6 duck eggs on the cusp of being born. I just want to plant myself in front of the incubator and just wait.

The next cycle of duck eggs made it into the lockdown incubator. Six this time. The other incubator currently is housing the nine developing duck eggs. As mentioned, after all these are done, that will be it for at least the rest of this year. Thank god, lol. It's fun, but so stressful!

Good news: My new medication has been very effective for my MH stuff so far! Bad news: A side effect of them are some visual hallucinations and my emotions are all over the place. I walked into my office and saw this scene, and had a full blown panic attack. It's just my cat lmao. Scared me bad.

I am torn between Yuba City CA, or Niagara Falls, NY (American side). Leaning more towards Yuba City though. That place is incredibly depressing. At least with Niagara Falls you have gorgeous places to go hike, the parks, and the falls obviously. At least there are things to do. Yuba City though..

The trickiest thing about working in isometric perspective is that each time I click off aseprite to look up how to do something else via tutorial, is not falling into the mental chasm of "WE COULD HAVE DONE TOP DOWN PIXEL ART PERSPECTIVE YOU FOOL. I wouldn't feel anything. Partly because the art of creating said "toy" has made me numb lol. But in all seriousness, eh, I don't mind. But what I will say is when someone calls something a "toy" it feels inherently diminutive. Negative in context. At least anecdotally, that's been my experience.
