Well, it was fun while it lasted, but I just lost my save on Baldurs Gate 3, right before entering Act 3. I "rolled a 1" that my main file was an honor mode one, so I only have one save (and thus no backups). But on the flipside, it did give this gnarly bug that I can share with everyone.

Ok. I love Karlach to death. I love Halsin to death. ....But yo, Gale's moment where he shares magic with you, and gets you in tune with Mystra/Weave, is hands down the most beautiful moment. The writing for that, made my jaw drop. I am going to have to make a character purely for Gale now.

You're in a horror movie. Do you survive? If so, how? I thought about this before, and my conclusion is that if the key to survival is to just hunker in place, I got it locked in, I am good. If I have to dip into any sewer or some kind of sludge to survive, I am getting offed at that point.

Here's some more progress from the tutorial: So far, it's a lot of fun. It's very hard to mix it up or change it from a follow along when you are working with such a small canvas size, and a palette of four colors, but it's impressive how a few pixels of shading can make it drastically different.

Following along with a tutorial video for now (made some very slight minor differences) Flabbergasted at how well I am understanding pixel art stuff.

Our ducks have been outside in their run for about two months? Roughly? In that time, I learned a lot. Perhaps the biggest is how they deal with mice. Oh sure, yea, they eat mice, not abnormal: They come from dinosaurs after all. But I didn't know they actually DROWN their prey. Nature is wild af 🧵

I feel like had someone phrased or explained to me, decades ago, that pixel art is effectively coloring in your picture, I would have latched on to it so much quicker. I have a very "additive" *checks art lingo book* process of creation, so this is clicking with me way more than other mediums. #art

Baldurs Gate 3 has been a smooth ride, for the most part. No real damning bugs, crashes, glitches, or anything... ...Until I reached the Grymforge, and good God...it's been nonsense after nonsense. Crashes and bugs galore. One almost upended my whole honor playthrough. Will not be going here again.
