I have a feeling furries who own fur suits, probably also have a secret power armor, or some other form of pilotable mecha stowed away somewhere. I am just saying there is a non zero chance that mecha and furry communities have to have some overlap. I just can't prove it....yet....

Something I am learning working with small pixel art canvas sizes, that even at 16x16, similar silhouette shapes are unavoidable, yet you are STILL able to cram so much unique detail inside. Squares, Circles, Cones, etc. The silhouettes tend to be universal, until they aren't anymore. Incredible.

A couple days ago, moment before getting my flu shot: Nurse: "Yeah this one is particularly potent this year, should be fine though". Narrator: Lucha was not fine. All my joints ache so bad. I haven't been able to do much. I can handle a lot, but aching joints and tendons bury me. Flu 1, LL 0.

In terms of actual skill, considering I am still a novice in the "visual" arts, I have always been in my element in terms of gameplay systems and functions. Visual arts? Nothing lol, I am still learning. Just bad at everything as expected. Socializing skills however? I'm super strong at. S tier.

Hi #pixelart! Ok, coming up for air from the cookie mines to share my attempt to glow up one of my early ones. The goal was to create a less "flat" cookie icon. and I think I finally settled on a draft that looks better. What do ya'll think? Do you agree, or do you like a version from image 1 more?

Today's goal is to refine these shapes. No new cookies to be created today, I just want to make these look visually interesting. They were nice first attempts, but the quality is stark between the circular ones vs the other shapes. I like the snickerdoodle shape though, might keep that one.

Pixelart day today! Sorry I haven't been as active on here as of late (ie, talking everyone's ears off). I've been around, just taking care of some things. Also been working on well, the same stuff I have been working on, and more. Hope everyone is doing ok today though!

What I lacked in progress for pixelart related sweet assets, I made up for with real life making of sweets. I am not sure what a Tiramisu is classified as. A cake? Either way, I made Mrs. LuchaLutra one. Much better than the first attempt, did some changes. She's happy with it, all that matters.

Dev side of things: You are never too old to learn, it is always worth it to try, and it's ok for you to take as long as needed. You find your own path, and it will probably look dramatically different than you could have ever imagined. But it's worth it to see your own potential, no matter what.

Hi #pixelart! It's always the most simplest of shapes, at the lowest canvas sizes, that really screw me up lol. The many many attempts at making readable bones. I also went ahead and made another "unique" cookie for the practice. So I have two more. Not sure how I feel about the bone I settled on.
