🚨Major water pipe burst on Ilderton Rd @steviecryan.bsky.social and I are aware of a wide area with no water or low pressure. Thames Water are working on the pipe now - a further update expected at 11.30am An emergency hub has been set up: Links Community Centre, 353 Rotherhithe New Road SE16 3HF

The road closure by Thames Water with no notice, which has cut off bus access to the #Rotherhithe peninsula, is unacceptable. It isolates residents who rely on the bus. We have asked @transportforlondon.bsky.social to put in place a shuttle service to replace the C10 and 381 buses.

A reminder that we will be having our ward meeting this evening to discuss the ongoing situation with traffic on Lower Road. 6.30pm at Rotherhithe Primary School, Hawkstone Road.

At @lb-southwark.bsky.social council assembly this evening I raised the increasing cost of energy for many leaseholders especially those on district heating. I will continue to work with @sezking78.bsky.social and leaseholders to explore options to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
