On this day in 1975 in Vancouver: Black Oak Arkansas Peter Frampton Montrose Frampton was the real treat as he was playing songs that would end up on the mega successful Frampton Comes Alive released the following year. #MusicSky

On this day in 1981 Johnny Thunders played the first of a two night engagement at Gary Taylor’s Rock Room in Vancouver. I went night 1 and it was a train wreck, although so glad to have been there. The openers were Los Popularos and Tim Ray. #MusicSky

On this day in 1987 World Party played at The Copa in Toronto. Led by former Waterboy Karl Wallinger, they had just released their debut album Private Revolution. Sadly Karl Wallinger passed away in 2024 at the age of 66. #MusicSky
