Special Effects was nutty! A director kills a lady, bails out her husband suspected of the murder, then starts making a movie about her death starring the husband! One of my fave kinds of movies where every single character does completely illogical/improbable stuff the entire flick. 🌹📽💀

Yearly watch of one of my favorite Halloween movies Scary Movie (1991). A paranoid nerd goes to a Halloween haunted house and has a series of super freakouts culminating in a total meltdown. Amazing performance by the actor, such an expressive face!

When I watch Pumpkinhead I always think, "No, don't let the kid die!" But if he didn't, Pumpkinhead wouldn't be released and it'd just be the kid and Lance Hendrickson doing wholesome things on the farm. But I'd watch two hours of that. If I directed Pumpkinhead, it would not have been a hit. 🏍💀🎃
