There is a difference with AI usage however. IN HOUSE trained tools (not on other people's artworks) which are used as tools, not as replacing someone's job but aiding an artist in doing their job. Those I feel are okay. I believe Broken Sword Reforged used an in house tool to restore and upscale.

Now games that ACTIVELY use AI I'm all for distancing myself from. This is one of the reasons I've stepped away from both Where Winds Meet and Sword of Justice and any other Netease games. There's others but this is one of the big ones.

Today's shift was so testing. I wanted to quit. We were understaffed, overworked and it was nearly 5 hours until I had my break. This is on the Saturday before Christmas which you know is going to be bad. Still, I stuck it out... at least till I find something better.

I feel at the moment I'm running on empty. Was so tired at work that I struggled through the shift. Not fun.

I might be odd but I never much bought into the fuss of Christmas dinner. Instead I just have my favourite meal, Hunters Chicken and enjoy that. You can keep your turkey, I'm having chicken with cheese and barbecue sauce! yum!

I'm really happy I got a job, it's been such a long road to get there but by Zeus do I hate working retail. It's not the place for me and It's not where I'm going to stay once I find somewhere better. For now though, it's where I am until I find my true purpose.
