as you can see here, the screen open and closed, the legs have no common position

mockup if there were a hinge, the legs move in an odd pattern, possibly a gear system needs to be had

As you can see, the screen is only held up by the two legs. there is no hinge per se between them.

Engineers! I need to ask a favor in helping me solve a design question. How the heck does the hinge work in the GIANT from Halt and Catch Fire? I've been trying to figure this out for weeks. There is no pivot point on the screen's legs so there must be some kind of mechanism inside to slide it.
