Spent the afternoon hanging a painting I'd bought some time ago. What a job it was to get that big, bulky painting hanging just so!

As you know I'm headed for Pawcon in the fall and I'm flying there. I'm considering using one of those new bear founded airlines (like "Uni-TED" and "A-BEAR-ica West") to get there. They offer wider aisles for bigger bodies, comfy seats and plenty of snacks to satisfy the biggest appetites!

Here's my "Furry ID Card" (with certain details redacted for privacy concerns of course). I carry it with me all the time and it's fun to flash at our conventions because it proves that I am truly "one of them". ;D

With Arizona Fur Con gone, I was looking for an anthro themed convention to take its place and I believe I have found one. It's called Pawcon and it's based out of the San Jose Doubletree in San Jose, California. I've already registered and obtained my room. Can't wait!

Some of my friends don't mind going clubbing in...shall we say...leather harnesses. I decided to purchase one and experience things for myself. Never again! Felt naked wearing it and it didn't breathe very well so I was hot and sweaty!

Spent the last few days offline because my computer keyboard broke and I needed another. What a time I had! Do you think it's easy finding a keyboard that will not only stand up to my sharp claws but also the pounding they'll take every time I type? *hoo!*

I'd look cute as one of those Funko bobblehead figurines, don't you think? ;D

I know the Artemis project doesn't have any anthros as part of its crew, but the day the Artemis program is ready to accept anthros, we've got a group just chomping at the bit to take their turn sailing the stars!

I wouldn't mind seeing a movie or watching a TV show based on this. (Heck, I might even root for the zombies! ;D)

Today for my hosting shift at Wet Willies' I was teamed with a new wingman named DJ Hoot. Nice guy.

Registered for 2027's Painted Desert Fur Con today. Can't wait for it!

"Greymuzzle" is a term we use to describe those like me who have been here for a while. I wondered what a "Greymuzzle Pride" flag would look like so I created one. The purple stripe's for the wisdom we have, the grey's to symbolize what we are and the red's for our passion.

My mother recently sent me this snapshot of when I was little, and a cute thing I was then too! "Come back Mistah Butterfly! Come pway wi' me!"

I like all kinds of music, but there's one song that I hate with the fury of a thousand supernovas-The Ballad of Davy Crockett. You would not believe how many times growing up I was asked if I was related to the ""ba'ar" Crockett killed! *UGH!*

The Cactus Cat a semi mythical creature that supposedly lives in my area. It uses its claws to open cacti causing their inner fluids to leak out before allowing them to ferment and getting drunk on them. I was suprised when I saw this ad for a new beer made from said juice.

What better way to shake off those Valentine's Day lonlies by participating in a dance party on the beach courtesy of Wet Willie's? ;D

Bucktown Tiger is a well known anthro and a swell guy to boot. He's also very smart and is "wrecking shop" (as he likes to put it) in a Jeopardy! tournament as I type this. Go Buck!

Here I am trying my paw at doing some table dancing Wet Willie's style. It's a wonder that one, the tables held my weight and two that I didn't fall off while doing it. ;D

I became interested in the Superbowl half time show when I'd heard it'd feature a "Bad Bunny". Imagine my shock and disappointment when I found out that the performer in question wasn't a rabbit at all, but a human! *sheesh!*

I once joined a society of cryptid seekers. We spent our nights searching for such semi-mythical creatures as the cactus cat and the Mogollon Monster. Had to quit though. Even though they told me, "It's like the X Files man. You gotta believe!" I never could though I did try.

Tootsie Roll Pops are a guilty pleasure for me and I have at least 2 a day. Don't ask me how many licks it takes to get to the center though. I unwrap one, start nibbling on it it and it's soon gone. :/

Bear crossing????? I don't see any bears around here. Do you? ;D

I recently saw a commercial in which a Coca Cola polar bear discovers he likes Pepsi better. WHAT A SICK BURN!

Just some items from Ultimate Fur Con, a small anthro con I attended last fall. Though it was a one day event, I still enjoyed myself immensely since it was the only anthro con I attended all of last year (having been too sick for Painted Desert Fur Con and Arizona Fur Con having folded).

Today I did some grocery shopping at the local store. It's not easy to do this. I always try to be nice and friendly to the store employees and my fellow shoppers even though they always give me looks saying they'd rather see that I do my "grocery shopping" in the wild. ;/

Just a little something I picked up at Painted Desert Fur Con. (As you can see, some of our literature and music isn't exactly meant for the tender ears of kits and cubs. :/)

Here we see something you do not find at our conventions anymore-the "internet room". In days of yore computers were set up so that anthros could e-mail their loved ones or whatever. With the rise of WI FI hot spots and smart phones these areas are generally deemed obsolete.

I found myself thinking about some old beer commercials featuring the so called "Most Interesting Man In The World" and got to thinking....why can't I be "The Most Interesting Bear In The World"? I don't drink Dos Equis like he does but I've got lots of class and sophistication.

Heard about how parts of our country are getting pounded by Mother Nature's winter fury. I'm a bear in the warmer climes and am durned proud to be one this time of the year. I don't have to worry about getting myself buried in snow just by stepping outside my door. ;D

I have secured my boarding pass for the Artemis round the moon trip in Feburary. Ladies and gents, stations please and may the solar winds be at our backs. We have the highest enthusiasm for the mission!

I read with dismay about the Fox News network sending a reporter to interview Further Confusion participants a few weeks ago. The Fox News gang is so square and so straight laced that they don't understand us anthros nor do they want to, and are only interested in depicting us as freaks.

Arizona Fur Con 2024 had a "prom" theme and the convention center walls were filled with congoers' attempts to be voted as "King of the Prom". Where was I? I didn't participate in this. Nothing special about THIS grizzly.

During our conventions we host charities that help out our feral cousins. Arizona Fur Con 2024 for example hosted a Greyhound rescue charity.

I'm a huge retro gamer and spend several happy hours playing away on my battered, but still working Nintendo 3ds.

I'll admit that I admire an anthro with extra pudge. Anthros are cuddly already but those with extra pudge are extra snuggly and cuddly. *sigh*

Disney may never allow this, but I'd be lying if I said that Nick/Judy fanboys/fangirls haven't been clamorning for them to get married since the first Zootopia movie came out (done using Bing AI picture generator). :/

Ever been pounce hugged by one of your plush pals? Marshmallow my tiger friend did that today and it felt wonderful. *sigh*

Wet Willie's features the best music around, the friendliest staff and the greatest VIPs and always guarantees a good time. I'm bloody proud to be a part of it.

I've always liked the cartoon Talespin, where Baloo from the movie Jungle Book became a daredevil pilot. Come to think of it, what's he got that I haven't anyway? ;D

Did a set for extra cash tonight. My DJ was DJ Khaotic. She's an old friend of mine from Totally 80s and I was thrilled to work with her again.
