This is a postcard depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin. I've seen many different postcards over the years, but this attached one is the first I've encountered. It appears to be based on a portrait painted by artist Lee Sang-beom. Though small, this postcard feels deeply heartfelt.

Admiral Yi Sun-sin has also been used as material for games. The game <Chungmugongjeon: Nanjung Ilgi Edition>, set against the backdrop of the Imjin War, was produced in 1996. It was exported to the United States and Europe shortly thereafter.

This clay figurine of a Western person was excavated from the tomb in Gyeongju. It is a product of Silla's exchanges with the Tang China. Humans are themselves time machines, constantly traversing time and space. This figurine is housed at the National Incheon Maritime Museum.

The attached image is a book about Admiral Yi Sun-sin's fortune-telling points, uploaded to Amazon. Part of the Korean manuscript for this book was installed a few days ago as a kiosk at 'Yehaenaru', a promotional facility for Admiral Yi Sun-sin in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, Korea.

Yesterday marked the day Admiral Yi Sun-sin defeated the invading Japanese forces at Noryang in the South Sea on the 19th day of the 11th lunar month in 1598 and ascended to heaven.

Tomorrow, January 7th, marks the lunar calendar anniversary of Admiral Yi Sun-sin's death in the line of duty. On the 19th day of the 11th lunar month in 1598, at Noryang, he sought to punish the invaders to the very end and ascended to heaven.

On July 13, 1950, just after North Korea invaded the South on June 25, North Korea created the [Admiral Yi Sun-sin Medal] as a second-class medal for its navy. North Korea, which invaded its own people and killed innocent civilians, created a medal bearing the name of Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
