Yesterday it was 73 degrees here before the storms rolled through last night. This morning we woke up to about 2 inches of snow on the ground. Crazy

I took Zoom and Little Miss Daisy for their follow up vet visit today. Zoom has gained some of his weight back, he is up to 10#, rechecking his thyroid. Daisy is almost 6# and is fine. She got the last of her baby shots and her rabies vaccine. Now I'm gonna have to get a job to pay their bills.

There was a lady with her little dog at the vet today when I picked up Daisy.The little dog had something wrong with its eye &needed it removed. The vet had to have a $800. deposit before they would do the surgery. The poor lady was in tears, she said all she had in her bank was $380. Broke my heart

Daisy is home. She's still groggy but otherwise she is fine. I did go ahead and have her chipped. Poor little puffin had a rough day.

I took little Miss Daisy in this morning for her spay. She's going to get a mani peddi, have her teeth checked cause she has stinky breath, and she's getting microchiped

It's 16 with a wind chill of 9. We got pretty lucky here. We got very little snow. It all turned to rain overnight. Now, all the leftover moisture will freeze tonight. Our cable and internet are out, but we still have power. I am thankful for that. So much for the sunny south. Be safe all.
