Apparently, this is the quintessential fall/winter in the #PNW. I'm told umbrellas make me look like a tourist. Look, I didn't spend 20 min on my hair just to look like I just got out of the shower. Plus YOU try and find a good raincoat with a hood for a 5'10" woman with long gangly arms!

My positivity of the day is our new closet system that was just installed. 2 women need a LOT of storage and this gives us room to grow. This along with the new cabinet pulls throughout & new pendant lights were our key "wants." We have one repair from inspection next week then relaxing..

Adding a pop of contrast to the kitchen! Old handles kind of became invisible with the cabinets and frankly, builders don't care about aesthetics, just function. But we wanted BOTH! Only have about 35 left to do in the kitchen and baths...1 section a day and will be done by the weekend 😊 #remodel

Feeling a tad off today and still tired so I took a lazy hair day. Will say tho, loving our water softener already. Had such an amazing evening shower and felt so clean after without the hard mineral grittiness. Worth every penny plus it will help protect our water appliances naturally.

Good morning to the 4am club. Wife still sleeping with the pups after a very long day of travel yesterday. Had to turn the fireplace on to burn off the morning chill. One thing we DO miss of the former home is our heated floors throughout. Crawlspace floors are chilly in the fall & winter mornings!

My hunny comes home today! Have been busy prepping for it too. Fresh sheets, vacuuming, wiping, cleaning, and working on the upstairs wall patching. Have a few morning errands so she can just relax and snuggle when she arrives.

Yay...got my medical back on track and once again scheduled for a new patient intake at a larger medical group with their gender clinic. Hopefully this one won't be canceling my insurance leaving me stranded again.

Well shit! Just informed my NEW primary and hormone provider is no longer accepting my insurance in 60 days. Now have to try and find another and establish all over again. Was so hopeful to not have these issues in WA but such is life, just irritating.
