My heart goes out to everyone at Meta who is losing their job today, many of whom I’ve become friends with over the years and who have truly earned their stripes in the XR scene. I’m confident they’ll land great roles and keep doing what they do best.

Looks like Meta’s gaming studios Twisted Pixel and Sanzaru Games have been shut down. They were well known for VR titles such as Asgard’s Wrath, Marvel Powers United and Wilson’s Heart.

It still blows my mind that we never got a mixed reality mode in Beat Saber.

The way some people react to my smart glasses coverage feels exactly like the early days of VR. Back then people said I was crazy and wasting my time too.
