I start and stop a lot with my art. Motivation often comes and goes quite quickly, and it's frustrating. Sometimes powering through helps, other times I stare at my page or canvas and idk what to do. Hoping to have more things to show soon.

Hell yeah new paints

Bought new thin and regular tip sharpies. I have some older ones I gotta go through also to see which ones are all dried out and which ones still work. Surprisingly some of the older ones, about a decade and a half old, STILL WORK WONDERFULLY. I also got spray paint on the way.

I have an appointment tomorrow, so if I stick to my schedule of Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday for livestreams I will likely have to start early, like 11am and finish around 12pm, so an hour ahead of time. Procrastinating on the stream setup a bit. Will be a bit rough again.

I bought a cheap piece of canvas today that I plan to do something cool with. I've been accruing some new art supplies as of late (assorted paint markers, including some poscas) and I am waiting to put an order in for some spray paints. Sketched out a rough idea of what I want to make.

Here's some work in progress shots of something I started working on immediately after my stream. IDEALLY, I'd love to be able to do this kind of stuff on stream. Need a better cam, or for me to do this with a tablet. #WIPart #traditionalart

I drew this on stream today! Attempted to render it some more, but this detail here with the black pen is a mistake I've made before. I have to make ink details like this BEFORE using crayons or coloring pencils. Otherwise, page is too slick for the pen to work well. #traditionalart #mixedmedia

Update: Working on something substantial, but making sure I dot my i's and cross my t's first. Plotting the thing out a bit at a time, figuring out where things go in rough sketches. I have a general shape/design done for the drawing, but fine details not quite yet.

Was so gassed up to start painting but the effort needed put me off immediately lol. Not quitting but as you can see I have been working on other things. Been very productive to be honest. I only really post finished works here at the moment.

Hiatus ending. Loading.... Painting arc begins. Will post process starting tomorrow. Started priming, need to add a few more layers. Got a table and a wash station set up. Will be sketching more insane shit too without the use of the drafting board. Might mess around in GIMP too.

Two sides of the same coin, tarnished by the same weather, endure. One side a man of great stature, one side a symbol of great pride, two sides of the same coin endure.

Revision of the laws of arko. WIP will be covered in a mystery language soon enough.

A violence of thorny hand, bound by none in this unknown land. Laid low by memories of old, but to climb the mountain so bold, a future untold, there in this unknown land. Stained conscious of corroded nerves, rattled by memories of that who no one serves.
