The pain of knowing you've got a ton of cool ideas for other art pieces swirling around, but you gotta grind out the one you're still working on. I love this drawing but damn, when I am done with it I got some other neat ideas to try.

Gonna go to a print shop sometime soon. I intend to get spme good scans of my art + a few copies of prints for artwork I want to sell. Got a few places locally in mind to do so. With good scans, I might make digital versions of some of my angel/demon drawings. I've had good success with it before.

I put this aside cause I hate wrestling with gel pens. My dumb ass was using gel pens. I want to complete it but, when my patience for it comes back lol. Bought some microns.

For those who followed my main and wondered what happened, I did not think keeping a social media account where I was that open and vulnerable with myself, only to vent and get harassed for it, was worth it for my mental health. Sticking to art. I got Discord for friends.

I love feeling productive with my art again, feels real good. I had those 4 small panels covered with a bit of spray paint for over a month now, or longer. To finally get at them and start a bigger piece has been a refreshing change of pace from doing fuck all lol.

Working on some paintings!

Getting the hang of my djembe. Slow and steady but I can keep a basic beat longer than I used to.

Haven't really been doing much art wise as of late. However, I did get some guitar lesson books and I intend to go through them and properly learn this electric guitar I got.

Doodle experiment with new highlighters and my posca paint markers. Gonna use sharpies and maybe other materials too, mostly just testing how well they work together. What can I do with them, special techniques, etc

That one WIP I posted is taking so god damn long. Definitely feel the burn out setting in, but I WILL finish it. I refuse to abandon it, even just temporarily in favor of another. I'll doodle some stuff, sketch out future drawings. But this is THE project until I am done.

Getting the hang of chord placement and not muting strings with my fingers... as often. Got my cable to be able to get some playback on my pc. Turns out though, Rocksmith, Linux and these cables dont mix well. God damn you pulse audio.

I start and stop a lot with my art. Motivation often comes and goes quite quickly, and it's frustrating. Sometimes powering through helps, other times I stare at my page or canvas and idk what to do. Hoping to have more things to show soon.

Hell yeah new paints

Bought new thin and regular tip sharpies. I have some older ones I gotta go through also to see which ones are all dried out and which ones still work. Surprisingly some of the older ones, about a decade and a half old, STILL WORK WONDERFULLY. I also got spray paint on the way.

I have an appointment tomorrow, so if I stick to my schedule of Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday for livestreams I will likely have to start early, like 11am and finish around 12pm, so an hour ahead of time. Procrastinating on the stream setup a bit. Will be a bit rough again.

I bought a cheap piece of canvas today that I plan to do something cool with. I've been accruing some new art supplies as of late (assorted paint markers, including some poscas) and I am waiting to put an order in for some spray paints. Sketched out a rough idea of what I want to make.

I drew this on stream today! Attempted to render it some more, but this detail here with the black pen is a mistake I've made before. I have to make ink details like this BEFORE using crayons or coloring pencils. Otherwise, page is too slick for the pen to work well. #traditionalart #mixedmedia

Update: Working on something substantial, but making sure I dot my i's and cross my t's first. Plotting the thing out a bit at a time, figuring out where things go in rough sketches. I have a general shape/design done for the drawing, but fine details not quite yet.

Was so gassed up to start painting but the effort needed put me off immediately lol. Not quitting but as you can see I have been working on other things. Been very productive to be honest. I only really post finished works here at the moment.
