After scavenging carcasses, fending off predators, digging tunnels, climbing trees, enduring harsh weather, breaking into people's cabins, and swimming through ice-cold rivers, it can be nice to take a nap.

Wolverines have potent scent glands they use for marking territory, earning them the nickname, "Skunk Bear." Today's Wolverine Wednesday brought to you by

Wolverine fur is incredibly effective at insulating against cold and moisture. It's so good that their own body heat won't melt the snow they sleep in!

Another reminder to anyone with a Wolverine sona or OC: Don't worry too much about the markings! We're all a little different, so just pick and choose what you like and have fun!

A wolverine shunned by society. A city diseased with crime. They must become hero to the very people that abandoned them. They must become: 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℕ𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖𝕝

Do you have a Wolverine sona? You may not know that Wolverines are plantigrade (they walk on their palms, not digits) and they have FIVE toes on each foot!

OPEN WIDE! Wolverines actually have a fairly average bite force of about 50psi, yet our jawbone and 38 teeth are immensely strong, allowing us to chew tough frozen tissue and bone no problem!

Like all mustelids, Wolverines are intelligent, playful, and feisty. We're not just angry mindless killing machines! That said, we're also NOT PETS.

Hey green-thumbs! Make sure to plant your wolverines 6-8 weeks before the first hard frost, allowing them time to establish roots before winter.

Did you know Wolverines love belly rubs? ... I mean of course we do, who doesn't? We're angry death weasel trickster gods, not monsters.

Wolverines don't all have the same markings and bright masks, like this wood-eating variant and its ultra rare nightweasel skin that currently goes for $42,069 on the Steam Community Market.

Wolverines are actually quite adept climbers and LOVE trees. That passion is why so many wolverines become real estate agents for squirrels and other critters looking for a new home. Buy now while rates are low and vacancy high! You won't get another opportunity on your dream arboreal abode!

Wolverines have large, broad paws that help them walk on top of the snow. Unfortunately, those big paws also make it difficult for them to play piano or use keybosrds, so thy spwnd most of thrir free tume pravticing finger postire.

I went for a walk in prime Wolverine country today, but didn't see any! This is because Wolverines command territories between 50 and 500 square miles, and this one is MINE.

Wolverines are one of the largest mustelids and are very well adapted to the boreal forests of the Northern hemisphere. As you can see by this map, they own all of Canada and Russia but have yet to devise a proper strategy to advance further South into enemy territory. Give it time. We're coming.
