Liko followed behind as she entered the store, the smell of sweets and other aromas wrafting through the air as she looked around. She didn't remember the last time she was able to fully relax and just... BE herself without being judged or hurt... it was nice, she quickly tried to make a beeline-

She watched as blue threw the ball, it opening to free the pokemon inside. As the blue shelled, final evolution of squirtle appeared before her, her eyes widened in wonderment. "Whoa! He looks so strong!" She thought for a moment before continuing, "You mean Professor Oak, right?! And... well-

This took the blue-haired girl by surprise, not expecting something like this, "Aweee, you just are misunderstood, aren't you big, fella?" She gave him a gentle pat on the snout. He may seem scary, but he wasn't.

"O-oh! I must've heard wrong, sorry!" She gave a respective bow to the other, "But that must've been some feat! I heard red was one of the strongest trainers ever!! Isn't that right, sprigatito?" The small grass Pokémon poked its head from her bag, giving a somewhat small meow with her eyes-

"U-uh... h-hi" The small girl coward under the huge creatures shadow, fearing the worst as she gazed up at him with her blue, sapphire orbs filled with fear, "P-please don't hurt me.."

"Whaaaa?!" She huffed as her arms fell to her side, "Fiiiinnnneeee, I'll be calm, no more rushing into things..." She mumbled as natsuki still held her up with only one hand. The pinkette was extraordinarily strong for someone so petite and small.

Liko froze on the spot as she saw the ginormous what looked to be- a deformed T-rex, "W-what is that..?" She stammered, her voice louder than she wanted it to be.

"H-huh?!" She looked around, struggling to see who had a grip on her collar. "H-hey, natsuki!" She called out, figuring it HAD to be the pinkette, "Can you set me dowwwnnnnn"

"I heard stories of how you took down a mewtwo!! Is that true? :0" She looked on with hope in her bright blue eyes, looking up to blue.

Soon, they arrived at the shopping center, Liko hopping off the red bike, looking around, her eyes widening in excitement. It's like a kid on Christmas as she went to a window of a nearby shop, "Natsukiiii, Natsukiiiii look!!!" She pointed to what seemed to be a cute mascot keychain, "It's-

Liko gave the pinkette a nod, "Alright then, let's go!" The cheerful blue-haired girl looked on with her eyes sparkling, this could be fun right..? Nothing bad could happen.

Liko nodded, her hair moving with the motion. "Well, what kind of food are we getting- oh, can we get snacks?" The dorky blue haired girl looked at the pinkette expectantly as she followed her to her bike. She got on the back of it as she waited for the pinkette to join her.

"Got my pokeballs, backpack, some food... so yup, I'm ready!" Liko gave an enthusiastic nod of her head, her blue hair bobbing up and down in motion as she nodded. She hasn't been outside in a long while. The last time, it felt like a distant memory, back when things were still bad for her. -

"Y-yea, course!" Liko said as she hurried to get herself ready for the day ahead. Grabbing everything she would probably need, she then hurried to follow natsuki outside

"O-oh! Alright!" She carefully removed the slumbering sprigatito from her lap as she got up from her place on the couch. "Where we headed?"

"Heh... right... what did you call me out here for..?" The dorky blue haired girl questioned, changing the topic, as she tilted her head curiously at the pinkette.

Liko heaved a sigh. She knew natsuki was right... but she couldn't help it. She was grateful to her, even appreciated her for doing it. "Y-yea- sorry.." She said apologetically

"Well... I mean, you're just really nice and..." She wanted to say yes, I mean, what else could she say? Natsuki literally saved her! She felt as if she owed her life to the pinkette, without her... she could be in a more dangerous situation... "A-a little..."

"Huh...? O-oh sorry!" The blue-haired girl apologized profusely, "Just... thinking how I could help you.. I feel kind of useless sometimes," She admitted to the pinkette, she wanted to be of use to her- why does she feel so useless...

"Bothering..?" She repeated, her eyes looked clouded as if her mind was far from her body. "I don't think so..?" Her eyes locked with natsukis as she continued, "I was just waiting for you to get here." They were supposed to do something, but liko couldn't really focus much.

Liko was just petting sprigatito, who happened to be curled up in her lap, snoozing away. Not paying attention, she hardly noticed natsuki walk in going to her room. But the pinkettes voice broke through her thoughts. She had to blink a few times at the girl. "M-me? No, just petting my-

She couldn't refute it, what natsuki was saying, she knew was true, she didn't know why, but the pinkette must've had a good reason for all of it. With a defeated nod of her head, she let out a sigh. "Yea, alright, then just let me know when you are done with all of that, ok?"

"Structure...? Syntax...? Symbols...????" The dorky girl fell into a confused state, she didnt know what natsuki was spouting about... plus, it sounded too complex for her to understand anyway. She gave one defeated sigh as she spoke, "No, Natsuki, I don't know any of that... what are you doing-

Liko gave a nod, "Yea I believe so"

"You mean like game coding..?" She knew what the term meant but not exactly HOW to do it.

"What? I wouldn't get confused..."

"You sure?" For some reason, that was not enough to persuade the dorky girl, "You seem like you've got a lot going on..."

Liko tilted her head, confusion clearly in her eyes, "Um.. what are you nodding for...?" She was just a confused dork.

"I-I meant will!" She immediately corrected herself at that.

"Ehh?! I won't promise natsuki! I would feel bad making more work for you anyway..." Liko mumbled looking away

"Me? Cause trouble? Wouldn't dream of it!!" She gave a smile towards the pinkette

Liko nodded, "Ok!! I'll go train my pokemon for a bit! Have fun with whatever you're researching!"

"Alright! I'll see you when you're done then? Maybe you could even show Roselia to me!!"

"Yea, we can always hang out when you're not busy with your research!"

"Oh... well, I can go if it'll help finish... that" She didn't want to, but if it helped natsuki, then so be it

"Research..?" Liko asked, completely confused, but decided to go with it for now, "Well, alright, must be something interesting since you lock yourself up in your room all day"

"Oh?? Well, what ARE you doing??" She questioned as she held her grass cat pokemon, who was also staring with a curious look.

"Well, she's the cutest dork- anyway, do you need space with whatever you were doing?" She asked innocently, not realizing how much power natsuki had at this point.

"Sprigatito, that's not your room-!" She gave an exasperated sigh, "Sorry about her-" She quickly walked in, scooping her pokemon in her arms.

"Oh?" Before liko could ask, her partner pokemon jumped out of her bag and tried going into natsuki's room, her tail swishing while at it.

Liko gave an excited Lil bounce, "When would be a good time?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head, not wanting to push it.

"Fine fine" Liko huffed, "Anyway... we got kinda off topic" She scratched the back of her head, "You think you can show me your pokemon tho? That would be so coooolllll"

"Whaaa you have to believe me natsuki

"W-whaaa? But... oh, never mind.." Was she being dumb? She couldn't swore yesterday she couldn't show emotion... maybe she's just overthinking it, "But it is!! I can't say something words correctlyyyy."

"Yes, I do"
