I want to cut myself but my bf (now recent ex) is threatening to report me and get my baby taken from me bc I cut

People piss me off and then I take it out on myself bc I’ll go to jail if I take it out on them. Does that make me mentally ill or is it the people that piss me off and expect me to just take it? I don’t think I should be hospitalized or medicated bc other people can’t be fucking normal.
