🌿 I absolutely love getting out into nature, and one of my favourite places to visit is to get into greenery is Short Heath. There’s nothing better than taking a walk, getting some fresh air, and enjoying the beautiful green spaces we have right here in our community.

I’m gutted that I can’t be with you all in Wolverhampton or Willenhall to watch the game later as I’m in Parliament, but I am so ready for the semi final. I’m hoping to see a repeat of last Saturday’s game!

It was wonderful to join the Nagar Kirtan from Guru Nanak WIllenhall Gurdwara to Wednesfield’s Guru Nanak Gurdwara. It’s an annual long standing tradition singing hymns, bringing colour to the streets, and taking Langar along the way in order to mark the birth of the Khalsa.

It was wonderful to join Rev Teddy Siwila at Fallings Park Methodist Church for an uplifting and moving Easter service. Thank you to the congregation for welcoming me to this wonderful community church, and happy Easter to everyone celebrating today.

Yesterday, I attended a somber and solemn service at St Patrick’s, Wednesfield, to mark Good Friday. Thank you to Fr Dawid Piskorz, the parish priest for the service.

Good Friday is a solemn day as we mark the crucifixion of Jesus. I will be joining a congregation later in the day at a service in the constituency. As we approach Easter, I am extended my best wishes the Christian community across Willenhall and Wolverhampton.

The CQC has published a report, downgrading the rating for certain services within New Cross Hospital. I have immediately written to the leadership of the hospital to provide assurance for residents, and will be offering my full help and support to the organisation.
