The damage a trap does is inversely proportional to how hard it is to spot and avoid. The more damage, the easier to spot. Pit trap. Hard to spot. Deals minor damage. Big gem held in the mouth of a (trapped) statue surrounded by skeletons reaching for it. Easy to spot. Big damage.

Weird thing I just picked up on (and hella niche). Forbidden Psalm lets you create characters using two combinations of stat modifiers: +3, +1, +0, -3 OR +2, +2, -1, -2 Between those sets are 36 potential combinations. A d66 table also offers 36 combinations. So you can random with a d66 table

After doing a bit of research into medieval demographics, particularly France. I worked out that there is: 1 capital 6 hub cities 72 trade towns 480 villages If I dedicate 384 pages to the capital book, 192 for each hub, 192 per 12 towns, and 192 per 20 villages…

I’m just going to make locations with attached adventures forever. Every time I hit 196 pages, I’ll turn it into a book, so every two weeks or so. 🫡 Just Passing Through forever!
