I think if there's any one major downside to the recent game announcements it's how many of them are sequels are reboots. Every time they show a new trailer it feels like a race to guess which franchise it's associated with.

Seeing some of these reactions to The Amazing Digital Circus finale makes me think people expected the characters to just look into the camera and exposit for 90 minutes.
