I've been feeling slightly more hopeful after last weekend's protests, but then *he* bombed Iran and I woke up from an ice cream coma having eaten through the bottom of the tub.

Here are my dogs. They make me smile everyday - and I really need that right now.

My mother's death anniversary is soon(I checked the date because I don't keep strict track of those times.) She died alone in a hospital with COVID and dementia. It wasn't easy or peaceful for her and that will haunt me the rest of my life. I'm not alone in this, but sometimes it's very hard.

I woke up with a cold today and frankly I was very relieved. I felt so tired yesterday I thought, "Shit, is this just what "old" feels like?"
