I walked face-first into a pillar at school. In front of the entire elementary school that was outside on recess. I was in 8th grade (about 14yrs old) and got laughed at by a playground full of kids half my age lol.

My WoL Fyona is much MUCH less powerful after Endwalker. I hc that her already fragile ability to control aether was MASSIVLY damaged by the events of Ultima Thule. She basically can't cast magic anymore except for very very basic stuff. She's retired now, an advisor for the next gen of heroes.

Fyona almost turned into a Light Warden in the middle of the Crystarium. She had "cracks" of Light all along her body. The scars remain to this day, filled in by Hydaelyn's crystal. She still has trouble casting magic, as her aether was so badly damaged.

He does! Hoshi has double full sleeves and a design on his ribs up to his neck. He got them from the Kojin after saving some of their fishermen from Emperial boats. My HC is that the tats are how Hoshi got the Blessing of the Kojin that lets him breathe underwater.

Fyona is with Y'shtola, but she won't because she's polite like that. She is casual acquaintances with the catboy, so it's full names all around.

It may sound strange, but I look for interesting things to give them (scars, a unique hairstyle, etc). I get a neat design, I give them a name, and then start thinking "How would they have got those scars?" "Why did they cut their hair so short?". And the story spirals from there.

Fyona's aether is fractured but stable. The cracks are filled with Hydaelyn's crystal. Like the art of kintsugi, where you repair cracks with precious metals. The aether in between the crystal is a soft swirl of colors, like a kaleidoscope lit with a dim light. Fractured, but whole. And very pretty.
