I am feeling the very strong urge to make myself feel happier through consumerism. Like, I just want to buy dice, and RPG books, and knives, and board games, and computer parts. That will make things better right?

Apparently the world is still full of stupid crazy hateful bigots, so I made myself feel better by buying myself more RPG books.

How fucking good is Madonna? Kicking it back to the 80’s with my playlist choices for today. Yes, we are living in a material world.

Today is 90s grunge and rock. It’s got me really nostalgic for old school MTV now. Damn.

Starting off 2026 by starting The Bone Raiders by Jackson Ford. I’m excited for this one.

We had decided that we really didn’t feel like going out for NYE this year, so we had a quiet night in with a couple of pizzas, a 2 liter of soda, and Escape From New York. Very good evening.

I’d really like to win the lottery so that I can have the time to tackle my backlog of video games, movies, shows, and this monstrous to be read list…

Crafting and watching LOTR this morning.

Got some creative feelings brewing.

Man, I love my dog, but did he really need to walk around for two whole hours to find a spot to poop? I mean really?!?

On to watching Guys and Dolls for the hundredth time.

I can’t stop buying books. And audiobooks. And ebooks.

Well, read my chapter of the day of The 31st Trick or Treater by Ben Farthing and now I’m just watching A Death on the Nile (not the new one) and making some teriyaki chicken.

I’m thinking that the game plan for tonight is a cozy dinner, a familiar spooky season movie on in the background and maybe a bit of reading or some old school gaming. Maybe Zelda or Metroid. Dunno.

Sometimes you decide at 10:30 that you want to eat teriyaki chicken, so you make some because you are a goddamn adult and you can do whatever you want.

It’s Friday! Time to listen to John Carpenter music, drink tea, and try not to go insane.

It’s chilly outside and all I want to do is spend the day drinking tea and reading. Not working.

Sometimes ya just gotta enjoy the small things in life, like pumpkin bread, iced coffee, horror audiobooks, and video game music.

Looks like another day where all I want to do is swim in the nostalgia of 80s and 90s Anime opening songs. I’m ok with that. Everyone else in the office will need to deal.

Spotify made a playlist for me called “2000s Dad Rock Mix” it’s full of MCR, Disturbed, Evanescence, The Killers, Jimmy Eat World, SOAD, Godsmack, Eve 6, Flyleaf, Muse, RJA, Marilyn Manson, Weezer, Green Day, and NIN. Part of me loves the playlist, part of me dies to see it called a “Dad Rock Mix”

It’s just that kinda day where I want to be listening to old school anime music. Like 80’s and 90’s stuff.

I am over being sweaty every time I walk outside. I want crisp air and to sit around a fire pit with a glass of wine and a creepy podcast.

Turns out pneumonia sucks. A lot.

Of course I would get sick on the day I have off from work. And I work tomorrow at 2nd job so I will certainly still feel shitty on Sunday when I am off. Fuck.

I’m listening to a fantasy forest music playlist and thinking about how much fun it will be to go to another renaissance fair next weekend.

I suppose there are worse problems to have in the world, but I am really bothered by the fact that I have so many books and not enough time and or energy to read them all. Honestly this applies to movies, tv shows, and games as well.

Was thinking about it the other day and @slrowland.com ‘s realm of Aedrea is a fantasy world that I would actually want to live in. If I could get wicked away to a fictional world it would be that one.

I just want to live in a roller skating rink in 1997.

I’m sitting here at work listening to Bit Brigade and just wishing I was at home playing Legend of Zelda.

Work is not as much fun as naps.

So I have been playing a good bit of Oblivion Remastered. I have been really enjoying it. Oblivion came out at a down period for me when I really needed something to occupy my time. I sunk a lot of hours into that game and I am really just loving being back in Tamriel and exploring Cyrodiil again.

Starting over here because the other place is a definite cesspool and I just get bombarded with right wing BS every time I open the thing. So hello everyone!
