My mini tour of the top bit of England complete I can announce the following: 1. Doncaster Library has trains inside so is therefore fantastic 🚂 2. Chesterfield is home to a bakery selling giant croissants so is therefore fantastic 🥐 3. Sheffield has many model train shops which is fantastic 🙂

I’ll admit it’s been a few years since I last set foot inside a library but when exactly did they start filling up with steam engines?! 😍

I took the platform clock trying to spell the word ‘beef’ as a hint that I should go and eat some beef 🤔 Couldn’t find any of that but I thought pork is similar and that’s in sausage rolls so I had one of them instead 😇

Went to leave for work this morning and noticed the neighbours wheelie bin in the middle of the road. As I approached it the wind blew it down the road so I gave chase shouting “FENTON!” I’d just like to apologise to any of my neighbours I woke 😇

Remember that thing we used to call sunshine? It might be hard to believe but I’m sure we’ll see it again someday 😊

This time yesterday I was on my way to the North Pole! Which, thanks to the magic of the Polar Express, is less than an hour from Norfolk! An epic trip, I still have gooseberrybumps from it! 😊

I have a huge list of jobs to do today to get the house ready for festivities so obviously the first one I’ve picked is to build a model railway to go under the tree 😇 Oh wait that reminds me 🤔 I need to get a tree…

When I arrived in London and found this beauty outside the station it took every bit of my self control not to “borrow” it and head back up the Great Eastern Mainline 😊

My final night shift was a filthy night. The sort that no soul should have to go out in. But then this rolled in and I was entirely up for the shift again 😊

Thanks to the random way shifts work today is my Friday 🥳 For some of my colleagues it’s also their Monday 😩 And for a few others yesterday was Saturday. But for me Saturday is Sunday this week… that make sense? 😇

Remembrance Sunday is one of my favourite days of the year. To watch even the busiest of places fall silent as strangers come together to remember those who gave their lives for us I find incredibly moving. Photo 180 is dedicated to all of you that take time to remember ❤️
