This year, I learned about and submitted to @mindyalyseweiss.bsky.social #PBParty25. My manuscript wasn’t accepted, so imagine my surprise when I found out that I’d received an Hon mention! It was a timely reminder that I’m getting ‘close’ and that I’ve got to keep at it! Grateful 🙏🏾❤️

For the first time in years, I revived the Portuguese NYE tradition of 12 wishes with 12 “raisins”. Though at 8pm, using dried 🫐 (and later 🍇!). 🙃 The kids joined with juice + ginger ale, and it felt great to revisit this tradition tied to my writing journey. 2025, let’s make it happen! 💫
