Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Beloit Sky Carp. They began in 1982 as the Beloit Brewers. Between 1995 and 2021, they played as the Beloit Snappers. They adopted the Sky Carp name in 2022.

Today's franchise collection #capoftheday is the Hub City Spartanburgers, for whom I don't currently have any caps. They began in the Carolina League in 2017 as the Down East Wood Ducks. Before the 2025 season they were moved over to the South Atlantic League after moving to Spartanburg.

Yesterday, we were fortunate enough to get tickets to The Big House Ballgame, an exhibition game between the Joliet Slammers and the Gateway Grizzlies. It'll definitely be a fun and unique event that kicks off the 100th anniversary celebration of Route 66.
