I’m a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. Been totally clean since 4.16.07. For the first few years it was a nightmare. I wanted to use. I joined Twitter on 2.22.20. I got addicted. Now I’m trying to get off Twitter. I joined BlueSky thinking I’m safe. I’m not. Millions are like me.

It reminds me that everyone on here is willfully damaging their brains. It also makes me question why I ever chose to participate in any of this & makes me wonder how to work constructively in a media industry that rewards content that harms the human psyche. OK, logging back off.
