On Saturday, the Tarken 18U SHL team volunteered their morning with Cradles to Crayons. Our student-athletes helped sort through bins of clothing donations to help the organization redistribute to neighbors across Philadelphia experiencing clothing insecurity. Thank you for your hard work!

#SniderHockey & Education students learned about what it takes to be a hockey official at the first session of our "Pathway to Officiating" Program last night. In this three session program, students will train to be referees and potentially become registered as USA Hockey officials!

Prior to the Pro-Am on Sunday, our 10U travel teams had the amazing experience to play a scrimmage on the Xfinity Mobile Arena ice! During the game, NHL Hall-of-Famer Mark Howe gave some words of wisdom to our student-athletes.

The Ed Snider Celebrity Pro-Am took place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena this afternoon, with Team Snider taking on Team @Crowdstrike! After a competitive matchup, Team Snider came out on top! Thank you to all of our pros who volunteered their time to play and make this a special day for Snider.

On Wednesday, the Snider Alumni Network hosted the third Beyond the Rink Dinner, this time focusing on careers in healthcare. #SniderHockey & Education Alumni were joined by Dr. Bernie Lopez, Snider donor and Emergency Physician at Thomas Jefferson University.

The #SniderHockey & Education Leadership Council took a team outing to an escape room this week, where they worked together to escape the room! Afterwards, our student-athletes discussed teamwork, leadership, and communication.

Sims welcomed community members for the first annual Amelia Mei-En Kaplan Community Skate last night. Snider students, community members, staff, and partners joined her family for a memorable evening in honor of Amelia. Thank you to everyone who donated to make this special night possible!

On Sunday, #SniderHockey & Education's 16A-Am travel team volunteered at the PSPCA. Players helped create treat toys for the animals, followed by a tour of the facility and additional information about the organization's mission.

Congratulations to #SniderHockey & Education Breakaway Scholar, Blake Martinez, on earning the Community Service Child of the Year Award form the 8th District of Pennsylvania Police Advisory Council! Blake completed over 125 hours of community service last year! Way to go, Blake!

#SniderHockey & Education girls travel teams celebrated the second annual Snider Girls Day Out on Saturday! Our Snider family cheered on our travel teams throughout the day. Along with the action on the ice, our student-athletes enjoyed a reading room, a book fair, and more!
