I’m going to be honest: I love my job and was excited to return to it 12 weeks after having my son. But it was hard, mainly bc I was breastfeeding and he wasn’t sleeping thru the night at that age. Maternity leave needs to be 6 months.

I’m sure more stories like this will be uncovered as we move away from the pandemic years. We’ll never fully know how bad COVID really was.

The kid is doing great, so he went back to school today. That means I can rot in the bed at least 7 hours. I’m hoping that rest will help.

The kid sleep better, so I *kind of* slept better too. He wasn’t coughing every 10 seconds, but the steroid he’s taking has him on a different planet.
