“From a moral point of view, I felt that I need to go to Yarden Bibas and offer him my condolences, and also deep from my heart, on behalf of my people, ask him for pardon, because we killed his babies, we kidnapped them. (1/2)

October 7 shattered Israeli trust—just like the Second Intifada did before. And when trust dies, so does compromise. Here’s the truth no one wants to say out loud: Israelis won’t make peace until they feel safe. (1/2)

The cynics who say “there’s no one to talk to” are wrong. Most Palestinians and most Israelis still believe in living side by side. Not divided by walls, but connected by a shared future. Peace hasn’t disappeared. It’s waiting: for us to stop yelling at each other and start listening to one another.

The result? We’re still stateless, while Israel is an advanced OECD country.

Are we fighting over land—or over the illusion that one side can erase the other? The war will end. But Israelis and Palestinians will still be here—side-by-side on the same land, sharing the same sky, breathing the same air, burying our dead in the same soil. (1/2)

In 100 years, Palestinians have been led by three men: al-Husseini, Arafat, and Abbas. All Palestinian mistakes were theirs—not the people’s, who've never had a say through a referendum. (1/2)

Trump changes everything. The best example is the hostage release deal. Joe Biden put it on the table in May 2024. His Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited the region ten times to try and get it over the line. All in vain. He never managed to secure even a temporary ceasefire.

There was a time when hate didn’t define us. When Palestinians and Israelis could sit across the table, and exchange not vitriol, but ideas and dreams. When leaders weren’t defined by how loud they could yell, but by how deeply they could listen. (1/5)

Some of the voices waving Palestinian flags aren't raising pro-Palestinian slogans at all. The same goes for many waving Israeli flags. You chant “from the river to the sea” like it's a slogan of freedom. But do you even know what Palestinians on the ground actually want? (1/2)

Along with ridding the Palestinian people of Hamas, we must get rid of Mahmoud Abbas. Here’s why: lack of leadership, vision, and internal divisions have blocked progress. To make Israel a partner, we Palestinians must make ourselves a partner. (1/3)

I often get asked what I think of Trump. I’ll leave the economics analysis to the experts, but in terms of the ME—despite Trump’s statements about relocating Gazans, I don’t believe he’s ideologically aligned with Israel’s far right. (1/5)

The international community won’t accept Hamas keeping weapons, nor Israelis staying in Gaza. Israel must leave Gaza and never return—because the Jenin model won’t work in Gaza. Hamas must surrender its weapons—because the Hezbollah model won’t work in Gaza.

The Palestinian issue can only be resolved without Hamas. We need new leadership in Gaza that forces Hamas to disarm and step aside for a political structure capable of working with the world, with the region and especially with Israel. This is the only way to stop Palestinian suffering.

Now, with the protests still not over, let me state the obvious. Hamas need to go: hand over their weapons and depart the scene. Gaza’s future and security must be guaranteed by a moderate Arab and Palestinian mandate. (1/2)

No one dares say publicly that in the interests of the Palestinian people, Hamas must be held accountable. It must pay for what it did by exiting Palestinian political life altogether. October 7 wasn’t just a moral outrage—it politically destroyed Palestinians and dragged us back to the Stone Age.

These marches could be our exit ramp – not just from the Gaza war, but from the whole conflict. People don’t seem to understand the significance, the scale, or the impact. Either that or they don’t care. Zero (Palestinian, Arab or international) efforts to help. (1/2)

Gazans are rising up… this is Day 2 of a growing mass protest movement in Gaza. Palestinians from across north, south and central Gaza are on the march, chanting “Hamas out!”, and demanding they leave the Strip. Their voices should ring out, not just in Gaza but also in Israel and worldwide.

There is no military solution to Hamas. Bombing Gaza only strengthens their hand. What does Bibi hope to achieve with this current military campaign that he hasn’t been able to over 15 months of relentless war? Who is he fooling? (1/3)

Many people in the West Bank will tell you, ‘I support armed resistance.’ But then when you ask them whether they’re willing to actively participate in the violence, they will all say no. I know these people very well. In theory, pro-violence. (1/4)

Yesterday I visited the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s “Old City” for the first time. The Jewish organization Aish Hatorah hosted me for a speaking engagement, a “Ramadan dinner” for a tour group of around 100 UK students and maybe 10 or 20 rabbis. (1/5)

Life has taught me that when it comes to the sanctity of life, there is no room for equivocation. No moral grey areas. No justifications. We either stand against all inhumanity, or we betray our own humanity. We must have the courage to condemn every act of brutality (1/2)

The peace train rumbles on. We’re like a bunch of uncool, overdressed hippies. But what we’re espousing is not pie-in-the sky idealism – it’s pragmatic and reasonable, grounded in what is both real and necessary:

A reformed Palestinian Authority is not a pipe dream, and in fact holds the key to unlocking the entire conflict. The structure of the PA must be preserved. This structure must move to Gaza and connect it to the West Bank – but the current PA leadership is a burden and must be changed.

I would really love to see this exchange deal concluded and for the war to stop forever so that we can open a new page between Israelis and Palestinians. There’s been so much pain and suffering over the past 16 months, and it will take a lot of work, and real political will, to heal the wounds (1/3)

Our real fight isn’t against Israelis—it’s against the fear and mistrust that keep us locked in this endless cycle. If we dismantle these barriers, we open the door to real coexistence and meaningful solutions. It starts with us.

This happened in Gaza yesterday. Hamas failed in Gaza for the last 18 years. Fails now and will fail for every day they insist on staying in power. Gaza will never witness a good day if they insist to stay. They need to understand that they need to leave. The sooner, the better.
