We enjoyed looking at Scots language in January. For this we explored different Scottish poems and songs. Children then had the chance to perform their song or poem to all of P3. Well done to our super performers and audience 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We have been learning about the jump strategy in maths and have been growing in confidence in using blank number lines for this. We used our number tiles to demonstrate the jump strategy on a human number line. We firstly jumped in tens and then ones ➕🔢👏🏽

On Remembrance Day we focused on why poppies are so significant on this day and then created our very own poppy fields 🎨🌺

Today we continued to work on our Thinking Reader: “The Day the Crayons Quit”: P3 are loving this book and are very excited to do the activities. Today we looked at the main characters and created a table showing why each crayon quit 🖍️

Lots of fun creating our very own firework art. We used a range of media and colour to make these pictures 🎆🎇

P3 enjoyed decorating their very own pumpkin on the run up to Halloween 🎃
