resistor's job is to make electricity’s life more difficult ⚡ without them, current can rush through a circuit faster than the components were designed for. which sounds great until your lightbulb turns into a very brief lightbulb. sometimes engineering is just strategically slowing things down 💡

there’s something very funny about teaching electronics through a hamster. you start out thinking “aw, look at the little guy running on his wheel” 🐹 then 20 minutes later you’re debugging a circuit and learning why your voltage source is causing problems. somehow it works.

voltage is basically the “push” behind electricity ⚡   think of electrons like tiny ants on a slide 🐜   bigger slide = bigger push   we’re slowly turning electronics into playground metaphors and honestly it’s working 👀

we opened a battery and it’s doing way more than it looks 🔋stuff inside is pushing electrons. other stuff is pulling them in. that’s what keeps everything running ⚡did you know a AA battery moves *billions* of electrons every second? how long do you think it lasts? 👀
