Blake's hand slipped from Gambol Shroud's hilt as she looked the other girl over from head to toe. She didn't appear to be any worse for wear, so that was something... She could see the expression change drastically in an instant, not approaching her, much like one would approach a skittish cat +

As much as Blake wanted to let go of the grip on her weapon, she couldn't bring herself to totally do it yet. The expression on the shorter woman's face seemed to spark something in the cat's eyes. Recognition. She leaned in closer to Neo ever so slightly before speaking up once again ++

Blake never took her hand off of the hilt. Following the so-called police closely, never letting her break line of sight, in fear that she could just slip away back into the crowds. Now in the empty alleyway Blake kept a few steps distance between the two. ++

Blake's hand, the one that wasn't holding her scroll right next to her face, gripped the handle of Gambol Shroud behind her, keeping her eyes on the other woman as she steadied her breath. "How about we walk out of here officer... Where none of these innocent civilians will be in danger..." ++

Blake closed the gap even more, as she looked into the eyes of the cop, the silence was more than telling at this point. No corrupt cop would go this long without saying anything antagonizing towards Blake... She knew that far too well at this point. ++

Blake produced her scroll and showed her license towards the officer. Holding it up next to her own face so it'd be extremely obvious that it was in fact her. "So what do you have to say for yourself officer... Do you have a name badge?"

The cop seemed to not be backing down, as Blake reached for her scroll she kept a watch to see if the suspected officer was attempting to flee. Ready to show her license as her eyes narrowed

Her first thought was that this cop had been following her assuming she'd steal something. C'mon, a cat burglar is way too on the nose... "Excuse me officer but I'll have you know I'm a licensed huntress, not some common thief... What do you have to say for... Your..." ++

Blake couldn't shake the feeling that she was being followed. Glancing around as she saw the same cop from before, turning on her heels to face her. "Is there a problem officer? You've been following me for the past like 10 minutes... I'm not a thief"

Blake walked into a dust shop to try and see if emerald was inside, the whole setting oddly familiar to something from her old partner. Looking around at the shelves, hoping the green haired woman would check her scroll and see where they were to meet up

Huh... It wasn't her... Emerald had taken a transport back to Mistral to gather some information involving Mistral's reinforcement of Vacuo in the coming battle. She was likely using some sort of illusion to be inconspicuous but something still seemed off, she was supposed to be here

Blake was walking through the streets of Mistral, she was supposed to meet a supposed contact to help them in the fight against Salem. But she wasn't seeing who she was supposed to. Looking through the crowd she saw a cop that looked extremely familiar but she couldn't put her finger on why...

[Did the sword slow her down that much? Enough to be abandoning itself already? Even still... Blake went back in, prepared to use her semblance to get away from the attack and preparing the dust to add to it] Lions don't even have the highest successful hunt percentage in felines!

[Blake attempted to dodge this second hit, but wasn't quite fast enough, taking a glancing blow across the side as her own purple aura flared and took the hit. Blake backing off again as she realized her attacks were useless... Maybe it had to do with her attacks all being kinetic?] A bigger cat?

[A sword of that size wasn't too hard to dodge for Blake. While she isn't the most dexterous fighter she knew, she could maneuver around it well enough, taking a page from that book. Using her semblance to make a duplicate to take the hit as a feint, it opened up another attack at a lower angle]

Ironically enough This answers everything

[Blake closed the distance again, realizing that a single hit then going back to range isn't the best idea, she'd have to try and stay close, which was the most dangerous but probably the best strategy at this point] Hey! That's my line!

[Blake reacted just in time, using her semblance to produce a shadow clone just in time to take the hit for her, she knew she likely would have to do this but was at least expecting to make contact first. This lady was fast... Backing off slightly after the failed attempt, she had to think...]

[What kind of monster is this woman... If she can just wait for their opponent to completely run out of ammo... And why is she so intimidating... Anyway Blake charged in, closing the gap, mostly looking for a glancing blow to probe her defenses up close]

[Aura is a finite resource, but Autumn seemed to be completely unfazed by the shots and completely indifferent if they continued, maybe it had something to do with her semblance] I take it you'd want me to keep firing huh?

To be fair, Yang doesn't deal with dexterous fighters that well at all... And I hate to admit it but you're the best I've seen...

[Considering Blake didn't have much of her mobility options available like she would in a location with more verticality she had to just keep her distance, trying to probe the other woman for information] So you have a lot of aura to tank hits? And I figured keeping distance was always safe
