Yay! Had a bunch of fun writing some music for @dirtbag-mahjong.bsky.social. Found myself dancing quite a bit while working on it which is always a vibe. It's also a nice excuse to actually learn how to play mahjong! I've tried and failed too many times in the past. Check it out on November 26th!

So much cool stuff happening the past few days! First there was a huge influx of new support for Nocturne by @pracystudios.bsky.social. I actually still can't believe how many people have been checking out the demo and leaving very kind comments. It almost feels surreal.

People sometimes send me links and memes of stuff that makes them think of me and I try to take note when that happens. It's a really good way to keep track of how much hinge I lose over time

I'm not sure how universal of an experience this is or not, but I hate the pressure that can be put on hobbies to be productive. Either through monetization, skill improvement, or tangible benefit. Just let people do things for the sake of wanting to do them.

One of the coolest things to me about creative people is when you can literally watch ideas mature and evolve through subsequent works they release. See how their style and voice grows and changes into something new, but still solidly rooted in themselves.

I think one of the things I appreciated so much about Reze Arc is how much it allowed things to be expressed through visual storytelling. I'm sure someone else can articulate that more accurately than I can. But I just get so tired of things being expressed directly by characters.

I beat Potionomics. That was a really fun, cute game. I thought the difficulty balance was well done too. I was able to beat it without too much stress and I know I was far from a perfect run, but it was still challenging.

I have two original music projects I've been working on for a while that I haven't had time to do anything with recently. I think I'm finally going to have a chance to put more into them this week though and I'm excited.

Can anyone tell me if Ball x Pit feels significantly better to play on PC vs console? Trying to figure out which to try but can't find an answer online

Oh my god, Reze arc movie was one of my favorite things I've ever seen. Maybe I'm biased having been waiting for this adaptation for years, but it was so incredibly good. In just so many ways. Beyond words for me.

I was just carded at a movie, I've never felt so young before.

Imagine playing a game, thinking you've found the character of your dreams to date. Going through their quest line, making the choice to commit to a relationship with them... only to find out during the quest after that they choose froyo over ice cream? I've never felt so betrayed.

I hate how often lately I've been watching a tutorial on something and they casually mention that they recommend some piece of gear that is thousands of dollars. I don't even think thats inherently a fault of the videos, it's just frustrating when I am there to improve while not being rich.

This seems to be kind of a hot take, but I had just been lukewarm on Fragrant Flower for the first episodes. But when we got more of Subaru's backstory, that whole episode really hit for me.
