I didn't think I felt this old, but when I was in high school, there wasn't a single security guard, the doors were unlocked all day, nobody had ever even thought of having active shooter drills, and you could leave campus to go get lunch or coffee or whatever as long as you had a free period.

Speaking of Fusion 360, here's my first bucket design. I'm gonna cut a scale model out of 14 gauge and weld it up to see how it looks.

I don’t like supporting Autodesk, but Fusion 360 is sort of the Gold Standard in the entry level CNC plasma cutting and fabrication world. It’s either that or Solidworks once you’re more established, and Solidworks is a good deal more expensive. Sigh!

I detest fireworks. Professional shows are fine I guess, but people setting them off at home are completely inconsiderate. Every year for the past 11 years I’ve spent July 4th at home trying to comfort a very distressed dog who just wants to run away and doesn’t understand what’s going on.
