Went to get my hair done and the hair dresser told me that I don’t really look like a Korean and in my mind I was like does that mean I don’t dress well enough (didn’t have guts to ask what she actually meant by her comment but she didn’t seem/sound rude or anything at all)

I love it when people tell me I have ✨no accent✨ when they find out English isn’t my first language First of all, I probably sound like yall cuz I grew up speaking English, and second, we all have accents… depending on where we live or are from… ACCENTS MEAN NOTHING
