Unless it's toward the end of the game, I usually don't bother with field goals, because they're usually fairly uneventful, but the choice is yours! It is important to "watch" the game a couple of hours after the broadcast begins, although if you're self-disciplined I guess you could avoid the news.

You won't hear anything, which in the case of the so-called expert commentary is a plus, and you can see the score in a large numeric font, in one of the corners of the screen. When you see the score change, you can stop the fast forward, back up for 10 or 15 seconds and you'll see the scoring play!

The trick is to record the games on your DVR, maybe 2 hours in advance of watching them, so you won't hear any news about how the game ends. Once you've recorded the majority of the game, you start watching it on your DVR, but with the fast forward set to whatever speed you're comfortable with.

@maddow.msnbc.com: I hate watching college football games, or rather, I hate listening to them! The incessant braying of bands between plays, or the annoying sound of cowbells, it's all the same to me. However, I've developed a technique for "watching" games without having to spend hours doing so!

@maddow.msnbc.com: Anyone who has lived without full medical insurance knows how limited EMTALA is! It requires that doctors stabilize a patient in the emergency room, but that's it, no follow-up treatment, no ongoing care. It's the humane thing to do, and Trump is an idiot for not knowing about it!

You can't see it in these photos, but the bouche and lamb - again, Bausch & Lomb - mini-bottle is so tiny that there is literally no room for the "re-nu" logo, so as a public service directed toward anyone with dry, but not red eyes at a failing market, I would recommend that you not buy this s***!

However, the bottle is so tiny and the tamper-resistant seal so tough, that I was forced to use the tip of a sharp knife just to create a little tab on the seal, so I could strip it from the bottle cap. This, of course, was an informal invitation for a trip to my local emergency room!

@maddow.msnbc.com: My local supermarket seems to have stopped carrying generic bottles of 1/2 or 1 oz eye drops, except those that keep your eyes from getting red, which mine never do, so I avoid the extra chemicals! I was forced to buy a bottle of 0.27 oz drops meant to rewet contact lenses.

@andybeshearky.bsky.social is certainly an impressive politician! As governor of a conservative southern state, he finds a way to win without sacrificing his personal belief system or progressive social goals! "This year for president!" Google won't say it, but "Beshear for POTUS!"

@maddow.msnbc.com: I guess I should have known this, because I live in Texas, but I will never understand what the appeal of "H-TOWN" is when describing Houston! The H is only one of two syllables, but you have to contort your mouth to pronounce it. Houston is two. Texans is two. I don't get it!

@maddow.msnbc.com: Fareed Zakaria, of @CNN, does not seem to have a blue sky account (BTW, is it weird that Bluesky does not know how to spell itself properly?), but he has always invited strong analysts to his hour-long weekly show. Check out this critique of Democrats!

@maddow.msnbc.com: My intense dislike of collegiate football has reached a new level! In addition to the frenetic bands and the disabling CTE, Mississippi State has provided an insane new objection: Their fan favorite, the cowbell, has a sound like a swarm of gigantic crickets!

I find it entertaining to leave generally positive if slightly snarky comments, again, for gorgeous women on Threads claiming folks think they're ugly, and I make a point of NOT being similar to other comments, so I guess I'm earning too many demerits over time, since I always choose to post anyway!

I occasionally check out Threads, just to see what insecurities beautiful women have, but these pop-ups are odd!

"She" called me a dog, and then illogically claimed I was treating myself like a dog. It was weird!

I'm sure this population includes sincere women in their 20s and 30s who are who they say they are, and lately, I've been getting more male followers, who typically have tens of thousands of followers.

Like it or not, this country operates as a two-party system, and depriving the Democrats of her exceptionally strong voice and reasoned arguments may simply result in dilution of the Party's viability!

#HallmarkHaven: (6/6) As is always the case with all Hallmark films, our leading man and lady succeed in saving the factory, and pledge their love for each other! The key characters all get promotions and the unscrupulous competitors are frustrated. THIS MOVIE EARNS A SOLID B MINUS GRADE OF 86%!

#HallmarkHaven: (5/6) There are a couple of engaging subplots throughout the movie. One is set up to create dramatic tension, since Brendan doesn't know that Fiona is the factory owner's granddaughter, and the other has Brendan being secretly recruited by the unscrupulous operators of a competitor.

#HallmarkHaven: (4/6) Brendan convinces Fiona and the board of directors that although automation is inevitable, there is still a place for beautifully handcrafted chocolate Easter eggs in the run up to the holiday, and he actually designs and molds a decorated chocolate egg the size of a breadbox!

#HallmarkHaven: (3/6) She decides to return incognito to the factory being automated, to see what problems exist. The granddaughter is played by Fiona Gubelmann, who is soon paired with the Quality Control Director, played by the tall, handsome actor Brendan Penny, who has sought reform for years!

#HallmarkHaven: (2/6) The growing costs of their handcrafted lines of chocolate, plus competitive pressure from less scrupulous producers, have reduced their profits. The head of the Cavendish family convinces his granddaughter, who has never really worked there, to return and help save the company.

#HallmarkHaven: (1/6) "Easter Under Wraps" is an unusual holiday film that slipped through my fingers last Spring! With the Christmas movies about to totally consume Hallmark, I thought why not get this enjoyable film reviewed? Cavendish Chocolate Company has been pressured to introduce automation!

I literally had to turn on the closed captioning to know what the hell they were talking about! And the problem with that approach is that the closed captioning backgrounds are relatively large blue rectangles which make seeing certain parts of certain plays impossible!

If you listen to this clip, toward the end of it the announcers are making some kind of point about I think the offensive unit? But you literally can't hear a word of it! Turn up the mic!

@maddow.msnbc.com: I'm certain the White House and the hard right will use Senator Sanders' speech as proof that the NO KINGS movement is just a vast left-wing conspiracy, but it's so massive and so inclusive of all democratic (with a small d) points of view, that the smear campaign just won't work!
