I hate that AI "artists" have ruined my trust in the real ones. Any time I see new art that has specific styles, I find myself searching for imperfections and questioning whether it was honestly human-made, instead of simply enjoying it without moral hesitation. 😥

Over the past few days, I have come to realize two things: 1. Artists have two options: Let people disrespect you and your talent, or never share your work or provide your service again, thus forcing people to use AI to replace you for free anyway. You are fucked either way.

For those who don't know or understand, here is a clear explanation of US Copyright Law as it pertains to commissioned art, particularly in the case of fandom artists and their art of client characters.

Just a general side note, ya'll need to chill with wishing violence and death over mere opinion differences, or simply disliking someone. Unless that person is an active threat or harming others, there are probably 1,001 other options, including acting like a fucking adult.

The arguement of "Posting art online automatically gives AI training tools" is a bullshit excuse to use AI. Artist shouldn't have to worry about their art getting stolen to train AI because they shared it, whether it be by an app, or some furry with no respect for artists.

The issue isn't about the right to do what you want with the art you bought. It's about how feeding art into an AI trains it to replicate the artist, and in turn makes it easier for people to get art in their style without paying them. It’s disrespectful and amounts to theft.

They are just cheap costumes. Probably wont even last more than a few months. People buying these are likely unable to afford or make a real one / kids. Even making your own is expensive with fur costs rising. This debate happens every year and never has anything come of it.

Anyone have any experience with eczema? I've had dermatitis before but it was never this bad. I was using Aquaphor until I was able to get some eczema specific cream yesterday. Any other tricks?
