Made some character concepts this week. Not 100% I'll realize this idea in my head, but it was fun to mess around with a different style.

For anyone who wanted to know what happened after the Tari Tari anime ended. Just finished doing a group watch of this with some cool folks, Zenith included, who we can thank for this.

Alright, I'm back in action! Tomorrow I'll be doing my Tari Tari episodes and catching up with folks. I have some work to do, but if there's time, I'll cook up an end-of-year post as well. There's plenty I haven't discussed still on the cutting room floor that I wouldn't mind getting to.

Car alarm going off for over six hours. The owner would turn it off about ten minutes and then turn it back on for some reason. Needles to say, I didn't sleep well. On the other hand, Spice and Wolf is good.

Finalists were announced and I didn't make the cut this time. Thought people might want to know.

K and I watched A Haunting in Venice as our spooky season movie and... it was good. It shares some things in common with Knives Out (the first one, the one I liked) but in a more grounded way. The horror/supernatural elements play well into the script. If anything, the directing is a little bland.

There are over 20 shows I'm interested this season and I'm still not done with all the stuff from the last one... I probably won't keep that many, but dang. Compared to several of the prior seasons this one might be a little too packed lol.

Since this is in public discourse again: I liked Garzey's Wing. I know it's not great, even poked at it whole watching, but I had a genuinely good time.

Saved me the trouble lol. I think I had a slightly better time, if only for just how ridiculous the show could be at times. Not a big recommendation as it struggles to keep the fun up as it goes. This becomes most apparent in the final arc of the show where it more-or-less gives up.

Even if it isn't 1:1 perfect, Gatchaman Crowds aged pretty well lol. I'll finish up when the weekend rolls back around. I also watched a spooky(ish) Halloween show that I might write about too but not sure yet.

Made a new graphic for AMQ. It's been a long time since I made a new one. Since it's for Discord, it's bigger than it needs to be, but think it turned out pretty well for what it is.
