Sometimes you get commissioned, work on an artwork, present a sketch, finalize it and get paid, just to eventually find out it's being shelved by the client. This piece from 2024 is one of these artworks. I quite like it and wanted to share it.

Artwork for WILD HUNT Open Air which takes place on July 26th, 2025 in Güdesweiler, Germany. The design is based on a local story/myth, a sort of variation to the "wild hunt" saga.

There is a point for everyone to decide if being on a social media platform such as Facebook is still beneficial or if the negative aspects overshadow everything. For me it's definitely the later. Only thing I do wish other platforms also had is the event function.

one thing I'm really thankful for is: clients who plan ahead. I used to get a ton of inquires from bands who wanted art asap because who knew that if you plan, record, schedule a new release for months or longer you also need artwork... and that realizations came 1-2 weeks before you need it. 🤦‍♂️

Especially when making Anti-NSBM posts, it really shows the difference between social media platforms. Facebook is mostly right-wing trolls these days, Instagram still has a lot of cool people and fewer trolls, and Bluesky so far has no haters/trolls. What's your experience?
