My takeaway on his essay is that Pete is tacitly preparing for a full-scale run for POTUS in 2028. This is the right decision, as being a Michigan Senator would be a time & resource distraction for him. And while I won't commit to fully embracing him as my #1 candidate for '28, he's up there.

She championed labor rights, WW2 refugees & helped shape social work as a tool for systemic change.
