Another batch of first-time watches, a weird mix of stuff. If you’d asked me a week ago I’d’ve said ‘of course I’ve seen The Wizard of Oz’ but sitting there watching it in the BFI it hit me that I must’ve just seen loads of clips of it over the years.

Rewatching Alien on the tube and two things occur to me: 1) I should get around to seeing this on the big screen sometime and 2) I’d quite like to see a cut with all the dialogue removed somehow- I think that would be great. (Not that I dislike the dialogue BTW)
