I did it... I sent off a short story to a competition!!! The story rly refused to be finished, I started writing it a year ago :'^) Made my poor gf read it three whole times. Now I can finally write something elseeee

Popular writing advice often says to "not underestimate the reader", but... I just shared a piece of short fiction with a writing group, and nobody got what I was going for 😂😭 It was definitely my bad though! A good reminder to not swing too far towards the obscure end of the spectrum either 😂
