I wish the BBC would break up the events on the iPlayer coverage of the Olympics, instead of just bunging it all together. Having to FF to guess when an event will start is a pain.

Going on from this, there is a certain type of male singer nowadays, where every song has a baritone "woo whoo woo whoo" bit sung in it. Grating as fuck. I could name one, but I always hear them on the radio and think it's the same singer.

Watch a lovely doc on the Wrecking Crew by the son of Tommy Tedesco. I knew they played on a lot of records, but my god! Did any American band play their instruments in the 60's? Was there a British version of the Wrecking Crew? Chas and Dave?

Listened to a 2many DJ's album a mate burned for me many years ago, and it's still not for me. Still mostly sounds like two records being played at the same time. Granted, there are some brilliant mashups of the genre, but most don't hit the mark for me.

Finally bought Wilco's Cruel Country. It's been impossible to get hold of on CD for a reasonable price. On sale on the Wilco's web site, but p&p made me take a sharp intake of breath!
